I appreciate the clarity and perspective Dr. Liu brings to the recent Choosing Wisely recommendations in Will Doctors or Patients Bend the Cost Curve? I think both patients and physicians will change if they share the same information, engage in an informed discussion with an explicit understanding of the options, their efficacy, value, impact on QOL, etc.
